Privacy and cookies
GoalWatch is run by Tuna Inc, which is responsible for the data described here.
There are no accounts on GoalWatch. We do not ask for your name or email, and we do not sell or share data for advertising.
Cookies that make the site work
Your settings are kept in cookies in your own browser, not in a database. They are sent with each page request so the page arrives already set up for you, and are kept for a year.
| Cookie | What it remembers |
|---|---|
| tz, clock | Your time zone and 12- or 24-hour clock |
| odds | How odds are shown: decimal, fractional or American |
| fav | The matches you have starred |
| col, chat | Which leagues and panels you have folded or opened |
| win, grp, all | How the list is filtered and grouped |
| snd | Whether the goal sound is off |
| consent | Your choice about analytics cookies |
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we know what to improve. It sets cookies whose names start with _ga and sends Google your page views, a rough location from your IP address, and your browser and device type. Advertising features are turned off.
You can turn analytics cookies off at any time under Settings on any page: choose “Not allowed”. That stops the tracking and deletes the _ga cookies already set. Google's own policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Chat
The chat is provided by klaklak.com. Nothing loads from it until you open the Chat panel. What you write there is public to everyone in the room and is handled under klaklak's own terms.
Other services your browser talks to
Team crests, league logos and flags load from our data provider's image server, which sees your IP address as any website does. Our host keeps ordinary server logs (address, page and time) for running and protecting the site, and deletes them after a short time.
Your rights
You can clear every GoalWatch cookie by clearing this site's data in your browser. Under the GDPR you may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and complain to your data protection authority; in Sweden that is IMY.
